Fedcom Media has launched “The Skweek Show by Tony Parker,” a program on the Skweek TV platform designed to captivate viewers with its original format. The teams at multiCAM Systems, in collaboration with Canon, were asked to create a customized studio environment that combines aesthetics and functionality.
The project focused on discretion and the elegance of the setup while ensuring an efficient and comprehensive operational workflow. The chosen solution revolved around the implementation of eight Canon CR-N700 PTZ cameras, selected for their image quality and advanced colorimetry adjustment capabilities via a Cyanview RCP. These cameras were integrated into the multiCAM Robotics SPIRIT system, including Slide and Lift, to enable dynamic and automated sequences.
The major innovation of this project lies in the use of multiCAM PILOT, a solution that allows a single operator to control all camera systems with great ease. Its intuitive interface allows for the memorization of key positions and the execution of smooth and synchronized movement sequences, thus offering the director unprecedented creative options.
The choice of Canon CR-N700 cameras was guided by the need to achieve broadcast-quality image rendering, with smooth camera movements perfectly synchronized with the Slide and Lift systems.
“The Skweek Show by Tony Parker” was a challenge brilliantly met by the multiCAM Systems team, who surrounded themselves with reliable and passionate partners, resulting in a broadcast-quality outcome for the audience.
